Main Power. 9V speed regulator through relay (PU) or adapter power through battery.(NXT)

Light on train. Picked up from track.

Connection. with bluetooth or manually (between systems) with light or color sensor. IR link to NXT.

Sensor. Reed switch work with NXT, Wedo2 motion sensor work with Pybricks

Signal. Lamp block from the 80s often controlled with relays.

Road Crossing. 80s lights and booms with small 90s engines controlled by motion sensor or reed switch.

Switch point. Remote controlled or programmed. With shifts bypassed the attack mecanism.

 

Studies

 

PU train. Provided stop

 

 

Two trains in a circuit, with the condition that it is shorter from stop A to B than from B to A, can let the train at stop B wait for the arrival of the other train at stop A before it runs.

 

Field devided operation 9V.

 

 

Circum devided in 4 fields with tree stops controled by Pybricks. (hub + wedo motion sensor + relay)  Video

First stop control both exit and entrance. Others stop the entire field. More
